Hello,

I load isx
run eq2bot
Select dungeoun crawl mode
i have "automatically pull" checked i am using my pull spell so i have the correct range set 5 under w/e

I click start and the dirge just sits there. He will pull mobs that are close by but that's it, he won't move down the path
The eq2bot window says "moving to start" "moving to finish" it just cycles through those two until somthing comes into range.

I checked my eq2bot.iss file and all my movement keys are set correctly
I checked my moveto.iss files and all my movement keys are set correctly

I created a path by, Selecting the navagation tab, click start pather, add poi, ran to next spot, add poi, ran to next spot add poi, finally click create finish, then save navigation, then end pather. ended eq2bot and restarted it. The console claims "C:/Program Files/InnerSpace/Scripts/EQ2Bot/Navigational Paths/feerrott.xml Loaded!"

After checking all my checkboxes are checked ie..Dungeon Crawl, Automatically pull

The dirge just sits there and doesn't move, he will pull all the mobs with his set range but that's all.

I need to know WTF am i doing wrong.
Yes I read the WIki, yes I read damn near every post and still I have been working on this for a week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Forgot to add, Yes my Main tank check box is checked
thanks

The only time I've seen the moving to start/finish messages cycling like that is when the start and finish points are too close. If they're too close the code connects the dots and thinks it's at both places at the same time.

I use dungeon crawl pathing exclusively without issue, albeit with fairly straight linear paths and not a lot of POIs or convoluted pathing.

Thanks chemical, all my paths were a big circle. Once I moved the start and finish points further apart, he works fine now.

I've explained this several times, but here is a synopsis.

1. Dungeon Crawl works with new navigation.

Your navigation path is building a map of valid regions for the bot to move in. You can set the region size larger for larger areas, smaller for tight passages. You can change the region size as you plot your paths.

Now, you have to add atleast 2 points, start and finish. The way navigation works is, it moves you from any 2 points within the region map you created. If those 2 points are 5 meters apart, and the region covers the entire zone, its only going to move you 5 meters. As what it does is plot the fastest course thru known regions between 2 points.

So if you want it to go elsewhere in your navigation realm, you MUST add additional POI's and include them in your list. This way, it finds the best solution from Start to POI1 then from POI1 to POI2, etc.

I add POI's for named locations, ends of tangent paths, intersection points, etc.

I have been running EQ2Bot in DC mode some lately. I have noticed that at one particular point it seems to get into a weird state. About half way down my path, there is a tendency for the bot to stop after fighting. The Action cycles through all of my POIs. Eventually, it will get to a point where it returns to my starting point. This doesn't happen every time though. I thought this behavior might be associated with getting off the grid with a certain pull, so I started the pather again and added a bunch of regions around the point where this happens. It still seems to occur though, so not sure what the problem is.

Ok, everything is working great now. I have another question. I know I read about this before but can't find the post. When my toon comes into range and pulls a mob, he runs up to and past the mob, leaving my cleric far behind and out of range of heals. No biggie if no other mobs around but if he comes up on a camp of mobs, well, you can see what the problem is. Is there something i need to change in order for him to just pull the mob with his spell, and let it come to him? I have him set to auto pull with a spell, the scan and pull ranges are set to 5under actual.

Thanks again for any help given.

I think you have the engage in melee enabled which after a pull makes you run to the mob and autoattack.

It doenst seem to be adding regions, I add POI "Start" and "Finish" and a few in between, it just cycles through start, finish, and NULL and doesnt do anything.
