Eq2bot Question

OK I have used the program now for a couple weeks and had a new question about EQ2Bot.

If i uncheck the ignore mob tabs when i try to train through zones to get to named with my tank my bots randomly engage mobs that hit or cast on them. Even though the health on these mobs is still 100%.

The only way to resolve this for the most part is to take off the auto movement feature and put checkmarks in the no auto movement boxes. I then target myself on my main tank and train.

Is there a way to set the bots to only assist the main tank and to only assist when the target mob is damaged?

Any assistance would be appreciated :)

Thanks,

Quan

do you have "main tank" and "main assist" buttons checked on all your toons?

If so... uncheck those buttons and choose your main tank from the drop down.. also select your main assist from the drop down, other wise they will think that its them - and they will act much like your discribing.

Yep

Yes I have the main tank options set corerctly.

all of my bots are set to MT and MA through my main character. None of them have these boxes checked.

when zoning, bots will tend to set themselves and others as MT/MA. This does not generally get reset very quickly, and you may be training through before they get reset. Best bet is to leave eq2bot OFF when training through zones.

look into the script "EQ2BotCommander.iss" that might also be a helpful tool for you. Although as a bit of warning, it is more of an advanced tool, or can be if you are using multiple systems.
