EQ2Bot window in Vista

I'm having the window positioning issue (i.e., dragged top of UI window off screen by accident) with EQ2bot. I did it once before about a year ago, and used the directions of editing the eq2bot.xml window positions and solved it on a Win XP machine. But now I did it on another PC running Vista, and I can't get it to switch back. I've edited the eq2bot.xml and even copied a working one from another machine. No matter what I do, it still stays off the screen. Is there somewhere else other than the eq2bot.xml file where I need to change something? Does it save that windows setting anywhere else?

Any help very much appreciated!

Note: Below previous post to solve issue ...

Go into your Innerspace/Scripts/EQ2Bot/UI/ Subdirectory and open the EQ2Bot.xml

About 28 lines down you should see the line

<Window name='EQ2 Bot' Template='My.Window'>

right under that is an X and Y

<X>0</X>
<Y>0</Y>

They should be look like the above, if not close eq2bot with endscript * and then go in and edit the file. DO NOT edit the file while eq2bot is running or it will save the xml when you exit EQ2Bot and will overwrite your changes.

Restart eq2bot and the GUI should be back where you can see it

Oh you may have to be completely out of eq2 to do this also I can't remember when I did it last time if I had to or not.

You have to edit innerspace.xml in the root directory of the innerspace folder. You cannot have innerspace running on the pc or the change will not take effect.

ironape, what you just said is totally irrelevant to what larry is talking about.

Larry: With EQ2 bot running in your console insert these 2 commands... (obviously put 1 in, hit enter, put the 2nd in.)

UIElement[EQ2 Bot]:SetX[50]
UIElement[EQ2 Bot]:SetY[50]

How is what I suggested irrelevant. I know exactly what he is talking about. The top portion of his eq2bot window is off the screen and inaccessable. Have you even tried it to see if what I suggested works? Just because yours happens to be easier doesnt mean what I suggested is irrelevant or doesnt work. As a matter of fact I bet those commands you told him to use change the settings in the innerspace.xml.

I know your good at this stuff and I appreaciate everything you have done for this community but thats no reason to be a pompous ass to someone just because they dont know as much as you. I try and help where I can with what info I pick up along the way. But what do I know Im just a leecher according to you anyhow.
