evebot mining behavior modification

I'm attempting to add code to evebot to detect ore volume per second, and deactivate mining lasers in mid cycle to attempt to more appropriately manage time.

However, I'm only a student programmer, and don't have any experience with this language.

Can anyone tell me how I can implement a timer in a script, and is there a method for typecasting in lavishscript?

You hook the OnFrame event like this.

Event[OnFrame]:AttachAtom[PulseFunction]

Then you add code to your pulse function to manage your own timers.

Is there a method for typecasting in lavishscript?
