everquest2.exe 64b/32b compatibility

Im running on a Win7 x86_64 system and the everquest2.exe files located at http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/ will not run. Im getting a error indicating the version of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows im running. I see posts by other folks who are running 64b Win7 who apparently are not running into this problem.

Im using the Station Launcher to DL the entire game and the size of the everquest2.exe executible is 14.9MB versus the 6.4MB version at the respository.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you unzip the file, it's the correct size.

Are you sure that the error message says that it's incompatible with windows...or, does it say that it's incompatible with the current server version (i.e., and EQ2 error message.)

But yea, if you saved the zip file as an exe file and tried to run it -- it wouldn't work.

Thanks for the help. The attached launcher worked great as did unzipping the executable properly...ugh

ill crawl back in my hole now...
