can I have more than one of the same alias of more than one name and black out the ones I don't want to use. I raid and am in diffrent groups so was thinking of making like 4 tank alias rather than diffrent save profiles. I basicly wanted to know does blacking them out work?

Its not poetic or anything but most of my raid toons have up to 4 aliases for the tanks alone.. It simply pulls from top down on the list...

Tank: XXX
Tank: XXY
Tank: XYY

it will always use xxx if they are in range or in raid. If they die you will automatically switch to tank: XXY if your assisting the tank allias.

Ah that's cool to know but i think your talking about who they assist; but i am talking about group buffs so if i am in x group all i have to do is turn on what toons are in that group for buffs.

Off the top of my head, I have to assume that there is no disabling on the Alias tab (if there is and you're asking me about it, you deserve a slap).

While it's possible... I'm not sure I will implement it... Aliases are called VERY often (every spell that has an alias, it is checked). To add the disable, I have to add another check to every single alias call. If you can give me a big enough reason that people would use it, I can add it, otherwise I highly doubt it. It'll just burn up extra CPU calls that aren't needed.

Realistically, if your group changes, you could edit the 1 alias and be done with it.
