Today is a forced patch for LU 42.

Please run your EQ2 patchers today, and today only. After patching, continue playing with the no patch option and patiently wait for the next isxeq2 release.

New releases generally take between 6 and 72 hours. Feel free to hang out on IRC for any additional updates.

phew i woke up and went to turn my bot on and began to panic. i don't follow eq2s updates much so it's good thing you cleared that up. i am in the middle of betrayal right now so it's all gravy.

Are you trying to load the game from the "no patch" part of the innerspace icon or are have you changed your config to load the ext while you load? In other words when you load isx do you have to type ext isx or does it do it automatically? For some reason when I tried to do it automatically it kept crashing but when I used the "no patch" and then typed it into the blue screen I get when I hit the ~ button everything worked fine. I don't know WHY its doing it but at least there is a work around for it. I hope I didn't make it to confusing

It is and has forever been my recommendation to ignore the setup instructions that tell you to configure auto-loading of the extension. It is the autoload that causes the client to crash at updates.

Just use no patch, and before you start any scripts, open the console and type ext isxeq2. Wait for it to complete and say it is ready, then go about your boting.
