just wondering do we have to update our game for this to work.. cause i bought the freeblood and a race potion and im not seeing a freeblood option now when i create a new toon or the race potion.

Just save the right exe in documents then update game and replace the new exe with the one we use atm.

Then you did it wrong, or didn't understand the instructions clearly. You copied your old .exe, patched, then replaced the patched .exe with the one you copied?

I followed the instructions verbatim and purchased the Freeblood SC race pack. When I go into character creation, I can see the Freeblood class, but cannot select it to make a toon as a Freeblood. It doesn't highlight to advance to the next screen. When I launch EQ2 normally, using their unpatched executable, I can make a toon or do a race change to Freeblood. I can then switch back to using the 12-13-10 patched executable and play the class, see the other race pack items as well as see other Freebloods.

So far, the only problem I noticed is with the character creation (which you can work around as described above). I am not sure if this is consistent with others or not.

Late-ish posting, but I, too, have that issue. If I want to make a Freeblood, I have to swap EXE files.
