having trouble logging in... can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi,

I just downloaded eq2 last night and played for a little while. I liked it so I reactivated my isxgames subscription and I am trying to load eq2 up via innerspace. Isxeq2 is set to load on startup and I can see the msg saying it is loaded. Before I get to the login screen I get an error popup saying EQII has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. <verify> E:\live\eq2\framework\render\src\VeShader.cpp (10164):m_pPixelShader

Does isxeq2 require anything to be installed that isxvg does not? Last year I had isx setup for vanguard and I haven't removed anything related to isx. Also, when I don't have an E: drive connected to my computer and I still get that msg so I am a little confused. If I run the game through the sony launcher instead of innerspace I get no errors.

Is there a crashlog somewhere that I can copy over for yall to see? I didn't see one.

Also, I don't get the error if I run from launchpad.exe instead of everquest2.exe... but I can't hit the ` button to get the innerspace window either.

thanks ill download the other client. Maybe the installation instructions should be updated to let people know about this... unless (quite possibly) I am about the only person who does something like this hah

Good point. Amadeus, if you could put a link to http://launcher.station.sony.com in the setup/install instructions with a note that either the original patcher or that launcher are required, that would eliminate at least some of this confusion.
