Hirelings

Did not want to hijack the other thread that deals with hirelings so here is my question.

When I put my toon in the guild hall next to the hirelings which have the depot next to them. I type "run ogre hire 5" and then go watch TV. When I come back later the toon is logged out and at the character selection screen. When I log back in I can see where the toon checked the box. I do use ProfitUI. What is causing my toon to log out? Is it something with ogre hireling or is it my UI. Thanks for any help.

Everquest 2 has an inactivity timer of around 15-30 minutes. That means if no one in the zone does anything with the server (moves etc), it logs you out.

To prevent this, you can use "ogre afk".

thanks, after I posted I found out when I searched the forum I misspelled hireling so I go no hits. Thanks for the tip on Ogre AFK was going to try and use jump as suggested in an earlier post.
