How is everyone doing this encounter? I've followed several of the walkthroughs, tried setting up tank and then switching to enchanter or healer, etc. to cast interrupts, mezzes, etc. Am using absorb magic on the MCP. But I'm still getting crushed. I can burn him down to 60% or so reliably and then it seems my tank gets a death touch about every 5 seconds. Tried this with both a caster group and a melee group, everyone in full ry'gor with crit mit adorns (150-165 or so crit mit). I ran the encounter before without much issue (just casted absorb magic when he emoted) but either I was lucky then, unlucky now, or something changed. Is there a crit mit floor I have to have on the tank or group? Tanks are plate tanks if that means anything to the script. I don't have access to monk/ bruisers.

Thanks

The abilities you need to interrupt are Overpower, Unavoidable Annihilation, and Invincible Opponent. Other than that, just hit Absorb when his damage shield is up, and expect to miss a few and have to res mid-fight. 150+CM is plenty.

I have setup a special profile for this fight to where my Coercer is chaining all mezzes and all stuns; everything else is turned off. So my only tip is to remove any spell that does not have a stun/interrupt in it and put one mezz at the top of your casting order (CA tab) and then the other mezz about halfway down into the casting order.

Since making this slight modification I have been getting through the fight without ever dying but in some fights there is an occasional death, way less often than it use to be though.

If you have any other characters that can stun/interrupt I would suggest putting those spells / CA's at the top of their casting order. Personally I haven't bothered but I'm sure it would help.

I don't bother with interrupts beyond what is already in my coercers cast order. Even dispels I just setup the coercer to chain cast it whenever it's up rather than try to time it.

When I was still running in mostly Ry'Gorr I found it far more useful to just rotate immunities on the tank when he had Purge(or whatever the uncurable mitigation debuff is) on him. Depending on the length of the fight, it was usually Blood Siphon, Furor, Blood Letter procs+Fury/Inq death save, Blood Siphon, Defiler deathsave(unlimited triggers...) after which it should be dead.

Absorb magic at top of cast order on a mage, interrupts and stuns as priority for all other classes in their cast order, and death prevent on tank. Win.

This is exactly what I do.

Also, I "play" a healer to res in the event the tank gets 1-shotted.
