I was curious about how internet connect effects game play when multi-boxing. what type of connections are people using to box two groups. What upload and download speeds? and which are most important?

I was curious about how internet connect effects game play when multi-boxing. what type of connections are people using to box two groups. What upload and download speeds? and which are most important?

Two things matter:
1) Stable connection. If you're getting lag spikes, you're going to suck.
2) Download connection of approximately 500k/s per eq2 session in a full raid.

So for 6 sessions, you'd want 3mb download.
For 12 you'd want 6mb download, etc etc.

While 99% of the time you don't need any where near this high, this is just going by the mins I would want, based on some of the shitty Internet I've used. I know when I dropped under 5mb, 12 boxing in the heat of some battles, sucked bad.

Upload speeds aren't really important. 1mb upload is fine for 18 sessions. I can't comment past that.
