ISXEQ2 Mismatch message

Hi Gang,

Ever since the EQ2 update on Tuesday ISXEQ3 reports a version mismatch when I try and launch it. I can log my accounts in no problem through the launch pad and the game has updated properly. The version of the game launching is build 10992L. The version lavish soft is reported as 1.13 build 5999 and my subscription expires on Jul 21. When I launch the game I get the ISEQ2 mismatch blue box. I have manually replaced the .dll as suggested in the forum. When I went to replace the eq2 exe the link reported that I had the correct version for the version of iseq2 that was running. Any clues as to what is going on and how to rectify it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

I am getting the same mismatch - patched eq2, innerspace, hit the ext isxeq2 in console and that's when it brings up the mismatch.

I was getting a file rename text for Launchpad crash before in isx also so perhaps that's the issue.

It renamed the file and deleted it and then still wouldn't work.

When I patched Launchpad again for full file check it found the crash file and readded.

I haven't loaded it since before last tues patch so I hope someones fixing it...

Launch one client. Patch isxeq2 with the ext isxeq2. Its what I've had to do in the past.
Hi Shad,

Thanks for the reply. I just got back to the game and still have not been able to launch (type mismatch). What did you mean by patch isxeq2 with the ext(ension) isxeq2? I am a noob to this and am unclear as to what you mean.

Thanks in advance.

Today is a forced patch where SOE makes everyone use the patcher to update EQ2. Log in to IRC and wait for Amadeus to update the ISXEQ2 extension.

Thanks Casey,

I have not been able to load isx for three weeks which is why I continued the thread. I assumed that today was a patch day. I should have waited till tomorrow and it would have likely been less confusing.

If it's still an issue as of the time I'm posting this message you may have to install teamviewer and then email me with the information so I can go on your computer and see what's going on. Chances are you have duplicate installations of innerspace or EQ2 ..or else aren't following the directions exactly right.

Thanks for the reply Amadeus. I discovered the error. When this problem first popped up I followed your instructions on deleting the isxeq2.dll in the root directory and making sure the new one was in the extensions/isdk34 folder. I thought that I had done exactly that (a couple of time as a matter of fact) but when I did a search all on isxeq2.dll I found a copy still residing in the innerspace root folder. When I deleted that things worked fine.

Sorry to bother you all and thanks again.
