Dear friends,
since the last EQ2-update (07-Jan-2011) I'm again not able to load isxeq2 on my 64-bit WindowsXP desktop - tried the binary file from 06-Jan-2011. While trying to load isxeq2 I get the following error popup message:

....: EverQuest2.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL ....InnerSpace\Extensions\isxeq2.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

The console window error shows the following last 13 lines as follows:

Anybody else getting this error? I'm running WindowsXP 64-bit and had not this kind of problems since I'm using isxeq2.

On my Windows 7/Notebook, there isxeq2 works fine with the 06-Jan-2011 binray - but not on my WindowsXP 64-bit desktop.
What should I do now for my desktop?

reboot the computer and try again.

Or, better yet, pretend it's 2007 already and leave Windows XP and move to a real operating system. XP-64bit was an even bigger pile of shit than 32-bit XP or Vista 32 or 64. Windows 7 64 beats them all.

But that aside, the error you're getting is an innerspace error, not ISXEQ2. And, it's typically fixed by restarting the computer.

Also, you can download the extension manually at http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Extensions/ISXEQ2.dll if you think it might be a bad patch.

Dear Maestro!
For sure I will consider to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 in the near future.
Rebooting (restarting) the computer didn't help but the exchange of the ISXEQ2.dll file solved finaly the problem.
Thanks a lot
