ISXOgre going down!

Now before you freak out too much... keep reading!

I'm moving all of my authentication and patching files.

Once this has been done, the old auth/patching will be closed down, then I'm going to open a backup auth system (we've been lucky thus far, with basically 0 outages to my auth server).

During this process, it's possible the auth server will go down for a short period of time.

If you get any auth errors (not including your sub running out!), try again in 2-3 minutes. If it's still unavaliable, come contact me on IRC.

Ultimately this should be completely seemless from a user point of view, but if something does go wrong, I do want to be made aware of it ASAP.

after getting an innerspace update or just a fluke it now says ogre.dll is not a valid win 32 application and it wont run and keeps popping this error up.

I'd say unrelated. Generally speaking when that happens, the download of the .dll was interupted, and the file isn't complete.

If you have another computer, copy the file over. If you don't, you can use the install file again...

Note: This will re-download every file, including your spell exports. So be sure to run them again afterwards.

Maybe be unrelated, but I am having exactly the same problem. I was successfully in and logged out. Bad move on my part.

yea i just used my old isxogre.dll i kept a back up of and replaced other one works fine now.

Just means you patched with more than 1 session loaded. It renames isxogre.dll to ISXOgre.dll.isxGamesPatchertmp so it can download the new isxogre.dll. Then it deletes the temp one, however a different session is using the temp one, so it can't delete it. That's fine.
