1. I have been using kbot, vgcraftbot, dip, and vgshaman. I too am getting the error code gmh(7) then it says;

Extension 'isxvg' loaded
Extension 'isxvg' is already loaded
seems it's trying to open twice or something

2. When I run kbot it works fine, if I try to run dip or vgcraft it says:

VGC: ISXVG not loaded or updating... Waiting...

3. If I try to run vgshaman nothing happens

4. If I try to run any of them again it says:

Script 'vgshaman' (or whichever) already running
runscript vgshaman (or whichever) failed

I have went back and reinstalled all the scripts and so forth and cant get a fix

Remove the line in the configuration that 'auto loads' ISXVG and then load it manually.

To do this, just start the game with innerspace and then when you're in the game open the console and type "ext isxvg".

I'll look into why auto-loading is causing a problem.

Otherwise, any/all of the scripts that use a UI may be broken now with the changes that Lax just made to InnerSpace. The file that would need to be updated is probably /InnerSpace/Interface/VGSkin.xml ....all I know would be to ask lax exactly what changes need to be done to that file, or beg Valerian in #isxeq2 to do it for you ....or, you can wait a couple of weeks until I get a chance to do it myself.

HOWEVER, that all being said, I was able to log into the game and start isxvg manually and it worked just fine.

And, for the record ..it sometimes takes a LONG time for ISXVG to run the patcher. The scripts are probably just not waiting as long as they should before trying to run.

The best thing is to load it manually as I described, so you can wait for the patcher to finish before starting your scripts.

Version 20081008.0012 (just released) should fix this issue.

Let me know if you get any more of those GMH errors.

Strange, Now that I had unloaded isx, and after you said there was fix, Innerspace won't let me change my settings. Seems innerspace is dead to my keyboard.

I tried to post in the innerspace site but I didn't copy the spam filter propperly and my post was lost...... Damn spam filters. Grrrrrr

Anyway, I can't reauto isxvg. Innerspace won't take any keystrokes.

Thanks Amadeus for being so on top of the situation. :)

Possible fix

I had a blank screen when loading the configuration in innerspace, so i just deleted the innerspace.xml from the innerspace directory and that fixed that problem.

Any script that utilizes a UI will require an update to VGSkin.xml ....that will require someone understanding how skins work to do it.

I will ask Valerian myself, but one of you could probably pop into #isxeq2 and offer him $10 or something to update it for you. Once the file is updated I'll put it on the patcher for everyone.

What has to happen more or less is the references in the vgskin.xml need to be readjusted. the VGSkin.xml is non compliant with a lot of the changes of proper skinning to the way Innerpspace handles skins.

I have been rewriting a proper skina nd it works just peachy as I can get it to use the wowskin, the new vgskin (one I designed) and the default with no issues. to get the dropdowns to work you have to change the combo and listbox references to those that are coded into the UI you use and the vgskin.xml that is current, or you can wait until someone puts up a proper skin and fixes the scripts on here.

unfortunatley thats the only way to get it to work, and VGCraft is a beast so woudl take a bit of time for someone to fix that one up and test it out as much as possible becasue its not just pulldown menus its the way the uielements for populating boxes and lists is working.

The scripts really shouldn't require any changes honestly because the UI files shouldn't require changes. It's just the skin file that requires adjustement.

well from what I was able to understand the scripts use a template form that refers to the vgskin.xml, which is not workign wiht the new changes. I have all the scripts working (VGCraft, my own, etc) with the new comliant vgskin I have rewritten. I am just tweaking it to look good.

From what I posted and got feedback from on the Lavish forums was some info from Lax, I changed an adjusted that info as he said the scripts was makign reference incorrectly to a invalid skin so I deiced to scrap what I was doign and rewrite the skin and scritp ui.xml form the ground up and its been fine. Like I said its a proper skin now so using say ventrilo or whatever with the -skin vgskin now works with all scripts that support it.

Please send me what you have or post it here on this thread as an attachment and I'll add it to the patcher. Even if it were a work in progress it would be superior to what we have now.
