Live Update #24

Just letting you guys know that I expect to have a version of isxeq2 out to donators sometime this evening. Right now I only know of one crash bug, and I want to fix that before I email anything (unfortunately my server, Butcherblock, is currently down).

Couple of notes though that come to mind for this update:
  • The 'craft' command technically works as far as I can tell; however, Blazer desperately needs to do an update before it will REALLY work as it should. So, please don't post bug messages about 'craft' until he posts an update. Just accept the fact that it's basically broken until that time.
  • I am out-of-town tomorrow, June 15, all day. So, if there is a forced patch tomorrow, you'll have to wait until Friday when I return for a new version of isxeq2. Also, anyone that donates after ..probably around midnight tonight (Thursday) ... will have to wait until I return on Friday.
Any specific questions or discussion on LU24 can go in this thread. Thanks.

Donated!
Instead of sending it by email, couldnt you put the people who donate in a group and just give that group access to download from this subforum?
They'd have to be registered of course :p

If I were planning on staying with this particular model for the future I would. However, I anticipate going to a subscription based model for isxeq2 usage in a few months.

Executable

From http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/ ...

200606140703-EverQuest2.exe.zip does not contain the correct version of Everquest2.exe [3167T, 2006/6/13 17:06:54]

200606150711-EverQuest2.exe.zip does not contain the correct version of Everquest2.exe [3169T, 2006/6/14 16:19:39]

These two are the only Jun 14th (ish) posts on twonk.

200606140703-EverQuest2.exe.zip should be the correct one (as that was the idb that I used). It also matched the only full-patch from June 14th (so, if you patched on that day, the EverQuest2.exe in your directory should work just fine).

Since I havn't heard any complaints other than this one, I have to assume that you're doing something incorrectly.

Normally I am much more accurate than that. Hose me down and call me wet!
I will endeavor to be more exacting - thanks for putting me right!
