Maldura Raid Question

On captain ashenfeld i see theres script done for it. and of course it was telling me a color to go to the circle.. I am trying to create myself a trigger to speak and to have for if im ever not tanking or anything.. But i cant for the life of me find anything to be able to trigger it off of, ive scanned thru logs and all i see is when/if it fails. Whats being used for it to show the color in the messages

Directly from Game -> ACT? No, as there doesnt appear to be any damage or emote relating to it.

If you really wanted though, you could write a script that when the detriment exists on you, your toon does an emote or similar which ACT could pickup.

Hmm... I could make it so limited raid options would tell you regardless of who you are. I just don't want my priest bots spouting off what colour they are when I have to listen to what colour my tank is (although the colour never changes. If tanks are yellow, they are always yellow until you wipe).

Okay with next patch (17.079), everyone will put into the console (text) which colour they need to go too. If you are a fighter OR have LIMITED raid options on, it will tell you (voice) which colour you have to go too.

Sounds like a good idea cheesy.. except i know alittle bit of scripting.. any idea how i could go about creating that, or to advanced for my novice self..?


and thanks kannkor sometimes when i run it with some other bot buds im playign my healer.. make it easier for me

It's not that simple to do safely. You can't use names and such.
By far the easiest way is to just use limited raid options.. :) I may be able to add an OgreEvent for this type of thing that would make it much easier (but in this case, it would still be easier to use limited raid options because you'd have to have Ogrebot running anyways).

Hate to revive an older thread but I have a question on this fight. Last night I had to run my 6 man group for the guild and tank the named. Everything was smooth with the exception of intercepting my priests when they got the detriment. We use Raid Hub and I'm not able to figure out how to have all my toons log so it yells out for the intercept (separate issue perhaps) How do you guys deal with knowing which priest to intercept?

For many raid scripts it requires IRC to be set up to function. If you set them up for IRC, your priests will call via IRC and your tank will intercept them.
