${Me.Target.TargetOfTarget} ?

I'm not having any luck, but what I want to do is /target the "target of my target" I.E. the mob is attacking my friend I want to target him and rescue... Can anyone help me with the data type I need to be using?

Does ${Me.TargetOfTarget} only work if your perception works? My character rarely perceives who my target is attacking...

I take it the 'perception' you speak of is the target of target that stays ???? 80% of the time...
