Mentoring

I normally 3 box my playing. My toons are the same level, but yesterday I was trying to run 4 accounts in an attempt to get 6 at once for instances once in a while. I tried mentoring my level 70 toon with my level 25 toons and it didn't work. Tried it with my bruiser and my coercer.

Is there something I need to enable to get this to work correctly? ISX does work with no problem if unmentored on either toon. As soon as I mentor, they just stand there following my group.

eq2bot doesn't change its functionality if you are mentored or not. I've done it successfully with two toons mentored down to as low as 13, and it works just fine.

As long as the mobs aren't conning grey, all the bots should act as normal. Even then, you can uncheck "ignore grey mobs" and they should assist in the fight. Do you have the correct "main tank" and "main assist" set up on all the bots?

I did have the main tank selected correctly. I updated everything and it works that they fight, but now they won't cast on even con mobs! I do not have that options selected either to ignore even con mobs. My Wiz works fine, but the coercer and inquisitor do not.

Did you mentor first and THEN load eq2bot

If your Con Colors on that PC are changed from default it wont work.

I will check the con colors. I do change the even con colors from white to off-white sometimes. Thanks for that info.

I dont remember if I mentored first then loaded EQ bot the first time, but I did the second time. That could have been it.

does it matter if you're not ignoring any con color? curiosity, i usually uncheck all ignores anyway since i'm playing the tank and i want them all attacking whatever i attack, regardless of con.

one problem i have run into is mentoring an 80 down to a certain level and not being able to cast because of power issues. not sure if that was because I ran eq2bot before or something but it only happened once.
