How do I stop my merc from rushing into the battle and pulling every damn mob in the place? I seem to not be able to set him with Ogre bot launched? I searched all setting and don't seem to see merc setup anywhere

Mercs are equal to pets. So use the pet options on the Setup tab. One thing to note, if you have Ignore NPC HP, your pet will go at 100% health.
