Hey guys I have put together a very small and primative script for using mining drones with evebot. I decided to release to you all in hopes that it will help you somewhat. Please understand that this is my first script and it doesn't have anyway to regulate itself. It does pair well with evebot because this script will not launch your drones nor will it target anything, this is left entirely up to evebot to do, which is how it is controlled. If evebot determines its time to leave the field for any reason the drones recall and the script ,although still runnnig, is virtually unable to do anything.
The steps and objectives that this script accomplishes are:
-once evebot has launched the drones it will enter a 10 second "sleep." This allows time to lock a target. If a target isnt locked you will hear eve warnig you that you must have a target and it goes back into the sleep cycle for 10 more seconds.
-after the target is locked the script takes a count of your drones and populates a list.
-next it uses your active target and sends the command for the drones to mine repeatedly and enters a sleep state for 70 seconds. This alows the drones to complete a cycle (including travel time) before waking back up and repeating the entire process again.
-one latent effect is that as your miner is moving around the belt it will still target riods that are up to 21k away and the drones will make trips as you approach to your OptimalMiningRange.
Lastly make sure that evebot is set to release combaat drones under the "combat" tab. This is the option that launches the drones
You can start this script up at anytime by typing "Run MD" and if you would like to turn it off the command is "Endscript MD" I normally start it after I get evebot started and it is ready to go.
