Movement stuttering on harvest/writs

When I use EQ2 harvest or attempt to do rush order writs, my character stutters. It moves like 1 inch every second, then it stops, then it moves again over and over. It ignores my POIs and just keeps moving forward. Crafting works perfectly though (except writs). My character seems to have problems with any script that involves movement

Any ideas?

my exact steps are:
run eq2harvest
create a start point (F2) ((Did all of this in first person)
create points of interest (F1)
create a finish point (F2)
Save all (F3)
Close (F11) and rerun harvest

1) Harvest no longer uses eq2harvestpath, you create paths within it.

Check your movement key definitions with those defined in moveto.iss

Also, check if the behavior is any different in 1st person or 3rd person.

great! i got movement to work on dungeon crawl. yay!

unfortunately harvest is still having the same issues (moves forward, stutters and stops, moves forward again). Not sure what's causing this still.

I'm using ProfitUI. Can this cause any interference?

As stated above.

Verify the movement keys defined in moveto.iss match the keys you have setup.

Also verify if the same behavior happens in 1st and 3rd person.

I have seen a problem with harvest when you start it and you're no where near your path. It has a bit of stutter issues trying to find its way to your path.

I used to have problems, the big fix I did was just opened my eq2 settings and put them back to default, I had something switched which made my guy run like an R-tard.


On an unrelated note to this specific topic, does anyone have suggestions on a good distance between start/finish points. I cant seem to find the hotspot, sometimes it will loop going one way, othertimes its will go to the end and just turn around, and sometimes it just will cross over to another close point and ignore the entire idea of following the path. Any tips on good paths would be much appreciated.

I'm working on a harvest update that addresses all that start/finish/ path issues. Should be done soon.

Oops, sorry. Forgot to answer your questions

1. Yes, the movement keys match the keys I have setup
2. The behavior happens both in 1st person and 3rd person. The stuttering looks exactly the same in harvest mode and when I do writs.

I'll try your suggestion as well Jim :)
