I thought with the last patch everyone was going to able to loot the Sprits from all of the end bosses even if they didnt complete the signature quest line. but I killed Barrodas last night and only my main toon that has finished the signature quest line received one, anyone else under this assumption or was I mistaken?

You have to complete the sig questline on at least one of the toons, then buy keys for alts in order to loot obols or greater spirits. No way around it that I know of.

My 12 toons are on 12 accounts so I don't think the keys will work for me assuming its heirloom only. Ill have to check later.

They're heirloom, I still have a few to run through the questline. Forced patch days are good for tackling some of the sig questline.
