OK who has this figured out already. Looks like we have to point the ISX to the new launcher but it might be hidden. I point it to the location below and it tells me its not vaild even tho its launching from there manually

C:\ProgramData\Sony Online Entertainment\Station Launcher

SO i figured out the patch to get Lavish to lanuch VG but ISX is not attaching itself to it.. All that was needed was to change the running locations of the new patcher..

I got this from the new patcher web site. Sounds bad for us

I regularly log in more than one account at the same time. Will I still be able to do this with LaunchPad 4?

Yes. Logging in multiple times with separate accounts is very easy to do in LaunchPad 4. Because LaunchPad 4 does not exit once you have started the game, simply switch back to the LaunchPad 4 application and log out of your account. Then log in again with any other account you would like to use and click the Play button again. A second instance of Vanguard Saga of Heroes will open and you can continue as normal.

OK. So, I think i was using the really od version of the patcher and this new one screwed me up. I fixed it by changing the Main executable file name to LauchPad.exe in my default VG install aka d:\Sony

It now launches isx I just need to get ISBoxer working

Can someone give me a link/instructions for installing the new patcher, etc?

I'll work on getting it running and then post better instructions, update the tutorials, etc.

However, in the end, it may require a few people harassing Lax to look into it since I don't think we can bypass the launcher with Vanguard.

(By the way, I think Zandross is still making updates to his bot on the SVN, so he must be getting it to work somehow...)

This is what I discovered: You can no longer use the original CD version of the game that installs to the C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony directory. That directory is no longer supported because Sony has changed the path to C:\ProgramData\Sony Online Entertainment.

What I did was to reinstall the game using their new launcher from: http://launch.soe.com/app/installer/Vanguard_setup.exe.

After a reboot, I launched Innerspace and updated the paths in the console by changing the following information:
*Main executable filename: Launchpad.exe
*Main executable path: C:\ProgramData\Sony Online Entertainment\

There will be 2 version of Vanguard... manually copy your settings/shells to the new path and then delete the old directory once everything is working correctly.

Before I forget, double-check your "shortcut", mine is on the desktop, there is a chance that it will point to the wrong directory.

The good news is I no longer have the problems I was experiencing with constantly typing in EXT ISXVG.
