SOE is stress testing the new station launcher this weekend. According to Grimwell it will replace the current launcher:

How might this affect isx?

This has been discussed in the past, basically Ama will have to patch isx everytime eq2 does once they go fully live with this. I'm pretty sure it's what he has to do now for Vanguard.

It doesn't really mean anything until it comes out. Vanguard requires a patch every update becuase of how VANGUARD is programmed ...they would have to change some EverQuest2 code to make it required in EQ2.

So, we'll just have to see.
