i keep getting a message thatsays:
Invalid Extension Version. Inner Space is using ISXDK v32, and this extension was built with a different version.
To use this extension, you need to download a new version that supports the latest interface.
Extension 'isxeq2' could not be loaded .....
what did i screw up and how can i fix it lol

right click the Innerspace crosshairs in your tray, select configuration. unselect "use development releases", hit apply and exit/reload Innerspace

i am getting the same error, use developement releases is already unchecked on mine, and if i check it then EQ2 wont laod, it doesnt even get to the splash creen at start up, it will display the build version at the top of the screen and then switch to CTRL ALT 1, then stop responding, i unchecked dev releases and its still doing the same.
I downloaded fresh copys of Innerspace and ISXEQ2 and installed them both, and im still getting this error message.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you read the announcement on the forums? http://www.isxgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4442

You should always read the announcement forum before posting anything.

Also, if you're using Ogre, you'll have to update that as well.

...If EQ2 isn't loading at all, or something of that nature, you should try to use Innerspace without ISXEQ2. If it doesn't work without ISXEQ2, then it's an innerspace problem and you'll have to talk to lax at lavishsoft.

i did read the post before i posted. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling innerspace and ISXeq2 using the latest downloads rather than updating old ones.

EQ2 works fine with innerspace, but if i open the console and typ ext isxeq2 then it will immediately crash.

i have updated all the files form the svn. after uninstalling i did a new checkout from the SVN so all the files there are up todate aswell.

I fixed this issue no problem on my own computer, but on my wife's I cannot get this fixed on her x64 XP install.

I have verified that she is using the Oct 5 EverQuest2.exe.

I have both reinstalled ISXEQ2 and also tried copying the .dll file, both of these methods failed.

I'm not new to this but feeling like an idiot. What else can I try?

Problem resolved!

For some reason, my wife's machine was not auto-patching Innerspace. Once I clicked the "Patch these files" to update to 1.11, everything worked perfectly.

Just an FYI to those still having an issue.

same problem

Hi all. I am having the same error message on my second PC. My main PC updated fine and both innerspace and isxeq2 working fine. Configuration is the same on 2nd PC and I have verified that both show the same versions yet I get the error message about an invalid extension. Innerspace has already patched and I cannot even find anything different between the 2 PCs. Both show Innerspace v1.11 (build 5318), ISXDK v32, Lavishscript v1.96, LSModule v19, Lavish GUI v0.72, and LavishGUI API v11. Unless I'm misunderstanding this information, both PCs are running the correct version of Innerspace, I do not have development patches downloading on either PC, and there are no new files to apply a patch to as in Mustang's case above... so I am clueless as to what to try next. I have, of course, updated everquest from the patcher again when I found it didn't work thinking maybe that was the problem so everything is updated. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Here is the exact error message: Invalid Extension Version. Inner Space is using ISXDK v32, and this extension was built with a different version. To use this extension, you need to download a new version that supports the latest interface.

That being said, ISXEQ2 normally downloads and updates itself automatically after an update; I have never had to download anything manually since I first installed, and my main PC, as I mentioned is working fine without me downloading anything... so even though the directions in the error message appear to be simple enough, I am not really sure where to go to download anything different or even if I should. Help! =)
