Ogre follow

My wife and I are both playing 3 toons each. I play the tank and she wants to control my 2 toons on my computer.

The problem I am having is that when she targets herself and uses the OFol-Dft it is making my tank follow her.

I know we can use Ofollow but then she has to type stuff where with OFol-Dft its just a button.

Can I make my tank not follow (I want 1 toon to not follow)?

Gah.. Im pulling my hair out.

When I connect to her computer (MCP) she connects to mine also ... WHen I disconnect she disconnects from me. I would just think I could connect to her computer without her connecting to mine.

Basically what she had to do (every time she zones) is set the Ofollow for each character (Healers, and 2 toon names). Each has to be done seperate also. Doesn't seem to be a way to set multiple toons in one Ofollow. Even though it seems like the "/" would work it just doesnt seem to for me.

Well any suggestions when boxing 3 toons with my wife? 2 computers, 3 toons on each. I want to control only my tank and she contols my other 2 toons.

You can turn off ofollow for a toon by typing off in the ofollow query windows. Think its first the char name then off to the next query. Also thought ofollow wouldn't affect a char if move to area was unchecked. I'm not at my computer, though, so this may be all wrong. Sorry.

I thought at one time the "move to area" did effect camp spots and ofollow... It is not checked on my Tank and when my wife hits Ofol-Dft he goes chasing after her.

When I type "Off" in my MCP (on my tank) it turns it off for everyone that was following my wifes toon.

The only way we could get it to work is to manually set Ofollow a total of 3 times (once for Healers, once for Casters, once for my troub's name) ... and we have to set it every time we zone from her computers MCP.

maybe something ghetto like this in a custom button..

Code:
  <Set Name="OFCustom">
    <Set Name="Code">
      <Setting Name="One">relay all "OgreFollowOb:SetFollower[Follower1Name,WifesToon]"</Setting>
      <Setting Name="Two">relay all "OgreFollowOb:SetFollower[Follower2Name,WifesToon]"</Setting>
      <Setting Name="Three">relay all "OgreFollowOb:SetFollower[Follower3Name,WifesToon]"</Setting>
      <Setting Name="Four">relay all "OgreFollowOb:SetFollower[Follower4Name,WifesToon]"</Setting>
    </Set>
    <Set Name="Description">
      <Setting Name="One">Ogre Follow Custom</Setting>
    </Set>
  </Set>

From my understanding - who ever (toon) hits the Ofollow Default - that toon is the followee and everyone will follow them. I split my groups to groups of 3 when I run PR, If everyone is in the same vicinity, and I hit the default Ofollow, on my dirge, everyone comes running to her, whether in the group or not. Did you try hitting the default follow with your tank? they should all go follow the tank.
She can use the MCP to controll the other functions, but I think Ofollow default, has to be click on your tanks screen.

Try clicking OFollow. When it asks "Ogre Follow for who?" put in your tank's name. when it asks "Ogre Follow on who?" put in "off"

Ogre follow never seems to work for me. If i hit Ofol-Dft then they follow me for that moment then stop following me not sure why just kinda gave up on it not sure why it doesn't work. in inerspace foreground is locked so it's not hat but any tips would be great it would come in handy.

Thanks

What do yout mean by "for that moment"? Are you zoning or evacing? If so, that will break OFollow because when you zone the characters are given a new ID by the server.

FYI: You can type "follow me" in group or raid and anyone with a target will ogrefollow you. Also, you can type "assist me" to have everyone assist that toon.

It's bi-directional (innerspace thing), and realistically, you need it that way.

Primalz way will work. I've thought about making a way to not have follow work on tanks, but it's iffy, there's times when I want it to happen no matter what, like someone AFKs, I can drag their tank along.

Basicly I hit ofol-draft then hit the - key to get the toons closer which they do but, then when I move toward an object mob whatever my toons don't follow.
