I accidently logged in through the patcher yesterday and now i get the " Clients Dont Match" window when i try to log in. Am i SOL till the next forced patch or is there anything i can do to corrct my mistake ?

As per when you initially installed ISXEQ2.

Go here: http://isxeq2.twonk.net/binaries/autoupdated/
Grab the correct exe for the current build of ISXEQ2: 2010-09-01
Place the exe in the correct folder: EQ2 folder where ever that may be

I tried that last night after i realized what i had done. I couldnt get that to work either. i tried extracting to the eq folder and also tried to put it in the client exe. file itself but it would only just try to start eq2. After fiddling with it for awhile i remembered the restore previous version tab in properties and restored my exe file to 9/1. That got it to work.

Just wondering, was i extracting to the wrong place to get the idb file to work? im running windows 7 (just recently switched from xp) so maybe im not holding my administrator stick the right way.

you don't download an idb file. you download an exe
