patcher error

Kannkor,

Noticed this earlier in the week or was it last week? Not sure but it doesn’t effect the operation of Ogrebot.

Checking ISXOgre related files
IsxgamesPatcher: Starting (Ver 20090703.001 by CyberTech/Amadeus)
: checking ISXOgre: 164 files
: updating “Extensions/ISXOgre.dll” from Version 93 to Version 95
: HTTP error: Unknown error: Access to path\Program Files(x86))\Innnerspace\Extensions\ISXOgre.dll.isxGamesPatchertmp is denied.

ISXOgre: Error while updating a file. Please let Kannkor know and he can investigate further.

There are like 7 more lines of : Updating xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx from Version xx to Version xx with no errors though I don’t believe they got patched since ISXOgre.dll was not patched successfully.

I updated to v15 recently (downloaded isxogre.dll from the wiki page) and have configured everything with no problems.
I just have this error message each time I enable Isxogre. I did try and load only one session of the game but still get this error.

Any idea? Is this normal for now? Something you are currently working on? Like I said, everything seems to be running fine… just curious to know if I should be concerned.

Thanks for great program, btw

Are you updating with multiple clients open? It gives that error if you are and is nothing to worry about. To avoid it, just open one client and patch. Then you can load as many as you want.

BJ,

I did try loading just one client and the patcher still gave that error. I only single client loaded on one of my computers though. I will try it again this afternoon and on both computers.

If you just updated to V15 you need to repatch from the beginning.

Backup your spell exports and old profiles.

In the console type:

ISXOgre:Repatch[0]

This will repatch you from the very beginning.

if you're seeing it with just one client loaded, i would go to that directory and delete that file (ISXOgre.dll.isx GamesPatchertmp) -- i'm assuming you typed the error in your post since there shouldn't be a space in it.

* btw you can copy/paste from console.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up deleting the patcher.tmp file and running one client - autoupdater was successful.
