POW gear

Hi all

Just more a general question.

I have seen on many posts that people run a mix of COE and POW.
Are people currently able to bot into POW?(with enough COE gear)
I know there is alot of trash to farm once you get past the BOAR.

I had not thought it possible to do the BOAR as the DPS needed on the add and the boar is too high.
(i guess if you had a 24 bot army then it might be possible but seems more people run 6 or 12)

Do people buy loot rights or get it via alternate means, or is there a way to sneak past the boar ?

You have to kill Boar and it can be done with less than 24. The dps needed on the adds isnt anything crazy, you've just got to figure out what works for you and your team. Range him or throw up some AoE blockers and burn boar before second set of adds.

I guess the question is, can it be done with 2 grps ? Any idea on the DPS one would need to keep the adds under control ? From what I recall, as long as the MT and healers can joust the Boar AOE and the DPS can kill the grp of adds in time then it should be very possible.

Yes it can be 2 grouped.

You can set up so no one has to joust. The red text is simply a mana drain. And it will only hit your tank if positioned correctly. (And really, when isn't your tank out of mana against raid mobs these days? )

If I had to guess.. I'd say 2-3m for the adds? I could be wrong...

Lately, I have noticed on my server that guilds are encouraging their members to go in there and clear out the trash to make it easier to get to the names. So, if your guilded, it wouldn't hurt to ask them if its ok to clear trash. This way the boar isn't a issue.

"need" 2 tanks if you have to ask.

(I quoted "need" because I'm sure it is possible to overgear it and use only 1 tank, but for the vast majority the adds will coop your tank down, or kill a few of your dps, which will lead to less dps and more deaths and finally failure.)

How many bosses are killable in POW with full bot raid? Can get boar down easy.
