Problem connecting to isxeq2.

hello guys/gals. i seem to be having a problem connecting to isxeq2 via the drop down console. i use 3 systems and 2 of the 3 are working fine(same network). the one in question gives the error

"There has been an error while connecting to a remote server via http (Error: 6). Please try again in a moment. If this continues to occur, please contact Amadeus the product you're trying to use, the exact error message you're receiving, and any other information you think might be useful in helping resolve your problem. (Host Attempted: "https://www.isxgames.com/")"

i have tried everything i know. rebooting my system and router. swapping network cables. completely reinstalling isxeq2. nothing has worked.

the error occurs at start up. and whenever i try to load isxeq2.

last night, everything worked fine. tonight, no go.

any help is appreciated.

What happens when you try connecting to "https://www.isxgames.com/" with Internet Explorer on that computer? (make sure it's https, not http and use Internet Explorer, not some other browser.)

That particular message is indicative of not being able to resolve the hostname.

goes right to the home page. no problem. i can browse the page like my other systems.

system is windows 7. not sure if that help. but trying to get all the info i can think of avaiable.

ok. updating this. so far i have done a complete reinstall of windows on a reformatted drive. i have done a clean install of everquest2, innerspace and isxeq2.

a new problem has arisen. when i try to "authenticate" my subscription. i get the error "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click Quit. the application will close immediately.

Error creating the Web Proxy specified in the "system.net/defaultProxy" configuration section.

i can get past this error by copying the dll file from one of my "working" systems. but i get the error described in my first post.

at this point i am at a loss as what to try next. any help solving this is greatly appreciated.

Are you using Windows 8.1 or the standard 8 that is currently released?

windows 7 premium. , .net 4.0

innerspace will load EQ2 without an issue.... until it tried to load isxeq2.

i cant think of anything i did on my end. it all worked great one day. then shut down for the evening. next day. there was an innerspace update. then nothing. 2 other systems running win XP ( just backup units) work fine.

i do use isxogre but i don't have that installed currently.

If you want to install Teamviewer and then email me at amadeusmq@yahoo.com with your info, I'll take a look at it and see if I can see why it's not working for you. Best thing to do is leave teamviewer on and then tell me when you're not planning to be playing any games. Sometimes I can get to it during the day, but often it's late at night before I can get to it.

i will look into that. i work during the day but should be able to get it set up tonight before or after raid.
