Is it just me or is this thing getting larger every time I log in? The thing seriously takes up half the screen and I don't see an option to shrink it

Any ideas? Modify the XML directly perhaps?

It took me a *long* time to figure out how to resize it.

Just get your pointer near the white border (maybe you have to tick or untick the "hide border" button), and you can change the size.

On a side note, it doesn't seem to be quite perfectly centered. I made mine the same size as my mini-map (which is ~ rear view mirror sized, in a similar place) and the "me" dot is a little lower than the "me" arrow.
