Question about V17 Group Heal Spell setup

Been looking at my healers, and they are almost never casting their group heals, even when there are members in the group that are well below the health threshold I set. Some of these spells have a target of Group (Alleviation,Wild Accretion) and at least one has a target of Self (Ancestral Channeling).

So, I assume for the Group Target spells, if I set "# of people" to 1, "target" to @Group, and HP to 90%, then whenever any member of the group drops below 90%, that spell should cast. I have seen Alleviation cast once in a while, but never Wild Accretion.

I assume I can use the same setup for the Self Target spells, and it should work the same; however, I have never seen Ancestral Channeling cast.

It might just be a quirk of how my cast order is set up, but when I see members stay below, say, 50% for 10-15 seconds at a time, and I don't see any evidence in ACT that the group heal spells are being cast (except very rarely), then I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

Let me know if I misunderstand how this is supposed to work.

That is how it should work. If you can confirm it's not working as intended, in a bit more of a controlled situation, that would be helpful. And make sure you are running top option of debug, so you can see what they are casting and compare it to your cast stack.

Looks like I was just not in the "right kind" of fight to merit group heals. I decided to pull the entire third floor of "The Fabled Vaults of El'Arad" and low and behold, there were group heals a-plenty. Sorry for raising what appears to be an non-issue.

You can also use ACT and check your healer to see what spells he is casting.
ACT doesn't as effectively tell you what you are casting real time. Yes, you can see your cast order by time, but unless you know when the events happened you are wanting to compare against. That's why watching it real time to see what the bot is actually doing works best in this type of scenario.
