Radar functionality questions?

I was wondering if someone could please answer a few questions about the radar in ISXVG.

1) does the radar work in full screen mode or only in Window mode?
2) are the options toggleable in-game/ini file?

I've noticed that the z-axis clip always defaults back to off when I start isxvg. Is this a known bug?

Is there a way to override it other than through the GUI?

Another One for aChallenged1

So, I got isxvg to work again minus the ctd's. Currently when I "/radar on" all that pops up is the [player name] dot in the middle of the screen without the seperate ui. All the files are in their patched and vanilla shape, any ideas?

Make a folder to place the following files in (call it holding bin, or whatever you like) found in the Extensions folder:

ISXVGRadar.XML

isxvgradarsettings.xml

ISXVGSimpleRadar.xml

Then start the game and load isxvg. It "should" (I do not know for sure, haven't tested it) recreate them.
If not, I can paste them later.

Having done what you suggested aChallenged1, I can say it does not recreate them. It will recreate the default xml but not the isxvgradar.xml. It just complains that it is not there and cant load it. It does recreate the isxvgradarsettings.xml though. I didn't move the .png so not sure if it recreates that one.

Either way there is no radar window. Would like to see the xml file you use.

If those files are missing you'll need to redownload and reinstall isxvg. They come with the installer.

Its not a question of missing but rather one of functionally. I will download again and see what is different but the original question of buttons and a radar window is what is at issue. It seems that many of us do not have that functionality. My radar is just an overlay and I have no buttons or sliders for control. Somewhere there is mention of these items for controlling the radar and we are trying to determine the best course of action to retrieve that functionality.

Thanks for your input though. Great Job! I really like ISXVG.

Same here. Everytime radar loaded, i've to turn of names again an increase the range manually to the old value.
Is there a way to keep the settings?

For those missing radar functionality, the problems seems to be that ISXVGSimpleRadar.xml is being installed as the default ISXVGRadar.xml in the Innerspace/Extensions directory by the ISXVG.EXE installer.

I suggest getting one of the radar skins from http://www.isxgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=621&highlight=radar and replacing the installed ISXVGRadar.xml with it.

As for some of the settings not being saved, I finally have my own copy of VG going thanks to the kind donation of one of the contributers here :) So I'll be looking into this shortly and posting any fixes to the thread linked above.
