Radar / Spawn timers

I was wondering how hard it would be to use the radar and ISXPoco and have it send me a text message or IM when a contested mob spawns?

Has anyone give this any thought or would be willing to code something for this?
Maybe a UI of some sort that you could add the name of the mob to watch for and then a checkbox to enable email / IM alerts?

Someone who frequents IRC recently wrote a script exactly for this. I'm not sure it was ever released though...
