Ranger Script

Does anyone else have a problem with the functionality of this script? I have a twinked 53 ranger, and i use it in a group. For some reason (I assume it has been tuned for Ranged CA Melee CA or something) it goes in for an attack (does NOT attack) then goes out for a ranged attack (attacks with a 25% or so success rate) then goes back in.

Am i not setting it up right? Possible fixes? (i have it updated Via SVN)

Thanks

I noticed dirge was fudging the range attacks as well. I'm going to fix it, and I'll look at ranger when I'm done. Seems its not waiting to complete the CA before moving back in.

Well, there are also a few other little things going bonkers with it.

1. When i use the bow attacks it does that strange thing where it runs around and aggros everything w/o doing dmg :)

2. when you have range attacks only checked, it never uses them it seems, or if it does, it just doesnt wait, and it still does Melee CA's... so iuuno if its working at all.

I would suggest maybe adding a wait for 1 second or checking if the CA has triggered yet. Only thing i would see that being in the wrong is if it then just is stuck on that 1 Ca =\

Otherwise, the script works if you just uncheck the Range attacks... I mean, your RANGEr doesnt need to use RANGE attacks :)

Great work otherwise :)

I'm working up a ranger at the moment with this script and its giving me motion sickness LOL. Is there a way to toggle the toon to not try to get behind the mob for EVERY attack? Right now my ranger keeps dieing because after every attack he trys to move behind the mob, all the while still getting beaten upon. If he'd just toe up and fight the mobs would be dead in half the time, and he'd die a lot less I suspect. :)

My work around for this was to just disable the range altogether, which resulted in, oddly enough, higher dps :) I twinked mine tho =\
