Requesting Temp Buff Through Tell.

I know you can do this with the MCP button, but MCP space is a premium. I know how to send tell to the class I want the buff to be cast but I am not sure how to get them to cast it on a certain person. I keep getting the console error message stating no target.

If anyone could tell me the command to get a temp buff to be cast on a target, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you again.

There isn't a way currently. I'm really wanting to avoid any kind of in-group chat for requesting abilities. When I take the time, I'll be looking at making some option through the announce tab that should be able to handle these requests.

MCP space shouldn't be at a premium, you can make it as large as you want. You can even change the button size, and the "padding" or blank space between buttons. Hit the "Setup" button on the top of the MCP to adjust these. Having said that, screen space is at a premium :)

Thank you for the quick reply. It would be nice to be able to request via announce through the uplink. Cut down group chatter especially when I'm grouped with other people.

I didn't know MCP was that flexible. Moar buttons!

Just a follow up question on the MCP buttons. Can you still create your own function using the MCPCommandscustom file? I added some functions into the file but it's not showing up on the drop down menu when creating a new button in MCP.

Yes you can. You need to reload MCP (ogre mcp). If they still don't show up, then you botched the xml tags. Fix them and they will show up.
