Rhythmic Overture and Victorious Concerto on Dirge Tab

The dirge tab (and maybe the Troubador) has check boxes for this. Do they also need to be put in CA tab or are they used automatically?

If they are here, they don't need to be anywhere else. There is no "logic" behind them, other than 'use when available'.

Thought so. Of course they way they work is that Rhythmic Overture monitor's damage done by the bard over a short duration, then Victorious Concerto gives a boost to group damage.

Ideally, I think you would want to hit Rhythmic O, do a big damage chain, then pop Victorious Concerto. I assume I can uncheck the dirge tab and time them myself?

Yes...

Which is more of the recommended method. Some people create chain tabs, some people just stick them into a semi appropriate place on their ca/namedca. They all "work", just a little differently depending on what one wants.

I put RO in my Ca tabs then I have VC on a my MCP button so I can cast it when I want it. for instance the bot doesn't know not to cast VC while you are jousted for red text this way I have control over that.

I have tried to set chains for RO and haven't seen any really big difference is the VC's so stuck it in CA tab.
