Scanning for a Weakness

Is there a way to scan for a weakness on a mob so that I can use the appropriate spell to exploit the weakness?

Is there any way at all of doing it with the Vanguard client (without ISXVG?)

ISXVG can only do things with what is provided to it. Chances are that mob weaknesses are stored on the server database and damage to mobs are determined by the server, so it's highly probable that your client never needs to know a mob's weakness.

Unless it's somewhere present for us to see graphically with the client, then ISXVG can't really help you. It's possible it is, I don't really play the game so I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah. "Weaknesses" show little icons in the client window, the same as debuffs, though grouped differently visually.

Any mob will do. It's the player that puts (and takes) the weakness from the mob. I'd say that by level 4 or 5, every class has at least 1 weakness using ability. When you hover over an ability, if it has a red arrow next to an icon with a plus symbol in the "tooltip", then you will cause that weakness on the mob when said ability connects. If it has a red arrow without a + symbol next to it on the tooltip when you hover over an ability, then it exploits said weakness (and does extra damage).

The following are the weaknesses in the game (but you'll be able to cause/exploit no more then 3 or 4 to a class);

Afflicted
Armor Chink
Bitten
Bleeding
Blinded
Burning
Chilled
Dazed
Enraged
Flesh Rend
Inflamed
Lethargic
Mental Lapse
Mesmerized
Shaken
Soul Wracked
Staggered
Stunned
Vulnerable

Would be great, because the weakness system adds a bunch of dmg to a fight.
