Setup question

Ran into a problem during setup. First off, the "tilde" key doesn't open the console and I believe that is what the error message below is telling me. I could be wrong, however. Can somebody tell me what I've done wrong?

http://www.isxgames.com/isxeq2/Setup_Step3.html

Error msg I'm seeing in console:

Session launched (is4): "C:/Sony/EverQuest II/EverQuest2.exe"
You need to load ISXEQ2 from the IN-GAME console.
In other words, run your game using InnerSpace's NO PATCH profile,
then when you're in the game proper, hit the tilde key (~) to bring up the console.
Extension 'isxeq2' could not be loaded

Late edit: Fixed the problem for running the "No-patch", got the tilde key working. Now just have to figure out how to make it work for my character set which has one large eq2 session with 3 smaller sessions under it.

2nd late edit: Found the option in the character set setup options. Got that problem solved. Now just have to figure out how to get ISXEQ2 loaded on launch. I thought I had set it up with the configuration already under the "Startup' menu and typing in "load isxeq2".

I'm still a little cloudy on what all exactly I'm going to need from ISXEQ2 in order to run the Ogre software. Does it just need to be loaded each time I open EQ2 for the Ogre scripts to run? I don't think I've downloaded any ISXEQ2 scripts yet. Do I need to get anything else than the base software?

Also running into a problem getting onto the IRC chat. Trying to do it through the java on web browser, I click on this link-

http://www.isxgames.com/irc.php?chan=ISXEQ2&restrictchan=1&noTSoption=1

I put in a nickname & click connect and it says on bottom "internet explorer blocked this website from installing an active x control"

But there is an option also.. "install". I click on install and it seems to do something from a split second (installing?) then comes back to a blank, empty window with no chat box and nothing in it. So I click back, retype the nickname and click connect again and up pops the same message as before and the same option to install. It's just an endless loop. What is going on here?

You just need to have isxeq2 installed, isxogre will handle the rest. (You don't need any isxeq2 scripts at all).

You can try this: http://eq2.ogregaming.com/wiki/index.php?title=Help:AutoLoadingISXOgre

Just make sure you are choosing the profile you are using.

Loading ogre (ext isxogre) will automatically load isxeq2 (ext isxeq2) for you.

Okay, did exactly as the instructions mentioned in the link. Kind of perplexed why this method instead uses the "default profile" when everything else up to this point has been using the "no-patch" version it seems.

Will test these changes out in the morning, and thanks again.

Don't think too much into it.. it's simply an example of how to add a load command.

If you wish to fix the screen shot, feel free to do so and send it to me and I'll replace it.
