Is there a way i can change the spell rotation for a class in eq2bot?

Is there a way to have healer start healing as soon as i go into combat.With rok and tso instance mobs can take half you health by the time healer bot deides to start healing ...then sometimes its to late to catch up.

You can edit the spell rotation in the Combat_Routine section of a class.iss.

Personally, I like priority casting rather than a list of to do's

Also, you could toggle ON the pre-heal feature...Making sure reactives/wards/hot's are always on your tank...

Is there a special program to open up the .iss file cause windows can not open it says.


Also as far as preheal in dungeons this can be more more dangerous if say body pulling around prox aggro mobs.

Would like option if possible to have healer engage heal rotation when i engage with hostile actions on other toon.

Notepad can edit pretty much every file in \scripts... or you can google "xml editor" or ".net editor" and find something you like. g'luck

Awesome. You just told the primary maintainer of EQ2Bot to piss off. I can't really speak for Pygar, but as for me, mister 4-post NEWBIE, if you ever complain about, ask about, report bugs, or request features for any of the scripts *I* maintain, you should probably expect a VERY nasty response.

As a wise man on IRC once said, "Rule #1 of mouthing off on the interwebs mentions 'Don't piss off the people you need help from.'"

180 hours in seb, check
2 healers on bot with preheal on, check
masters looted from seb smart loot bug, 100s.
deaths from prox aggro = none

Preheals only brings the mobs to the healers if whoever walked to close to something gets hit. Here's a hint, don't be a shitty tank and hit the mob with ANYTHING before it hits you, and no healer aggro.

And if you're playing a druid with pre-heals on and infusion turned on in seb, go sell your toons on ebay where you bought them.

I think pygar is my new hero.

i've never had pre-heal issues myself.

in fact, i would probably like it in seb, more mobs = better

sounds like you need a better tank and/or learn how to play

Wow such great responses.

Body pull healer preheal and continue casting .... mob that was pulled jumps to healer from casting aggro and kills the healer bot.

I am a necro i cant cast anything on the run and of corse pet is set to non protect.

And he did add nothing at all with his post...sorry some take offense to it.

i cant sell my toons back to ebay cause i created my toons on day one and they wasnt brought.

So im sorry for sugesting a option that would make your program better ...guess ill just cancel and find another one.

Meh, when you start digging a hole, you really should just finish the job.

Threatening to "stop paying" does you no good against Pygar as your not hurting him any. He does this script for free, out of his own time.

If you honestly want it to be better, learn the scripting language and make it better. You said your a necro? And you really expect me to believe that YOU are body pulling?

Necros must have beefed up allot since I played mine.

Heh I body pull as a conji all the time, tho personally I do totally agree with the finishing off the dig comment :). You go ahead and cancel your sub bra, go on with your bad self, try and find something that works remotely as effectively as ISXEQ2.

Point blank if you don't like the way its scripted politely ask for help rescripting it, don't be a tool to the person who wrote the script or just don't use it, <shrug> at this point tho I would be amazed if you get squat for help in ANYTHING you want.

You can send pet to attack while running, that's not considered a cast and all necro's know this. You can also use pet taunt during spell casting etc.

But why a healer with a necro? that makes no sense as tainted heals works MUCH better.

Necro's do suck as tanks see so Pygar was right lol

Sounds to me like the story is changing over and over, perhaps another product would be good for you as this one is aimed at advanced users.

Only pre-heal problem I have ever seen in any situation is pre-WARDing the tank when he is trying to body since an attack would bring unwanted adds (too many or any at all). Luckily this should be a non-issue since if the body pull is done right you will get only one and the tank shouldn't get laid out before they get to where they want to fight it.

If you have to pre-ward for just one mob at a time I suggest using a tank that isn't shit poured into armor. Not sure what this 'casting aggro' bullshit is about either. There's damage aggro, healing aggro, taunt aggro (duh) and even debuff aggro but a mob isnt gonna try and kill you just for having a casting bar up or casting something that isn't one of these. So I can only assume you mean 'healing aggro'

Keep in mind to have healing aggro, the heal has to cast AND heal someone.

So, they have to get hit to get healed to get heal aggro. If your prox puller is getting hit before he gets thigns out of social range, he needs work.

Heal aggro is also about the most negligible aggro there is. It takes very little to overcome it.
