Suggestion for SOE, Everyone Feedback this :)

in my opinion SOE should Setup a program where people can pay an extra $15/month/slot to allow multiple simultaneous logins for example if someone pays $15/month they get 1 login for there account if they pay $15 + $15 they get 2 simultaneous logins and $15 each per month for each extra allowed simultaneous logins, This way boxers can have all there toons they want to box and play on one account and it would entice other members to try out multiboxing who may not normally because of the tediousness of needing multiple accoutns and such, it could generate a great amount of revenue and even save subscriptions because if server pop is low and you cant fill out your group and your sick of using those lame weak mercenaries to fill out your group then you can just login another of your level 90's from your account and box it because you pay an extra $10 or more per month to have the extra slots and ability to log them in. This would also save on server resources by requiring less accounts for your multiboxers out there less accounts means less DB space and less cluter. Just a suggestion

If we all feedback this everyday on all of our toons then maybe they might give it some thought lol.

It's been firmly shot down previously, for technical as well as other reasons. And it doesn't make any financial sense to follow a pricing scheme that would allow people to exploit the system to reduce their current monthly payments. With the pricing scheme you are suggesting, people would share accounts for a reduction in their monthly sub.

yes but theres always people finding ways to scam the system no matter what you do and TBH 10/month is not gonna cost them a ton of money when you can get the same sub price paying 12 months subs, and really i dont care about the extra 10 a month im not trying to save money. its the convience of having all my toons on one account. and being able to play a way wider variety of group combos utilizing all my toons not just one from each acct. And it would be so much easier to not have to b ring in a 2nd acct to loot alt gear

We've also been told that it isn't up to the EQ2 team, it's the platform team which services all of SOE and seems to be backlogged.

I think if it were up to the EQ2 team we'd see this done eventually, but needing cross team communication ... never going to happen.

If you're paying $15 per each extra login right then you aren't really saving money.

Seems like to me it would just make you vulnerable to having one incident completely knock you out of the game rather than just losing 1 account.

I'd like it just for the shared bank slots across all my toons... not limited by accounts. I know people have also pushed for a shared slot for items between accounts. But this would also work.

If that is a concern what would be better would be a shared account bank slot. So acccounts with the same name address etc can be linked to one bank slot. Now that would be Da shizzznit!!!!!

Linking accounts for this purpose has also been shot down in the short term, though it is more likely then multiple logins in the long term. It's also something that requires the platform team to implement.

Figures SOE would do this would make too much sence to make the game more enjoyble for all of us.

It wasn't shot down just because they don't want to do it, it was shot down because of the amount of work it would require by multiple departments and the likelihood of fucking all sorts of shit up.
