Switching targets

Hi my main tank seems to switch targets at the worst of times is there a way to stop this?fighting named and in middle of big spell cast from named my tank will switch too another target, like a summoned mob or a add from named.Oh my tank is a guardian

Is there a specific fight?

Cause other than some specific raid option enabled fights, there is no 'auto targeting' or 'target switching' at all.
So, it's one of the following options:
1) You're fighting a raid mob with raid options on. (If you say which, we can rule this one out if needed)
2) You have 'AutoTarget' tab enabled, and have some random character, like "a" in there.
3) You are getting taunted by mobs.
4) You are hitting tab.
5) You are clicking on other mobs.

Realistically, I suspect it's #3-5

Thanks for reply. I don't use auto target I mainly noticed this problem with phobis in temple , I keep switching to his adds making it hard too kill him,also with the seer in wurmbone I switch just as he casts his bad aoe lol. Anyways thought there was a setting I had clicked on,will try taking raid stuff off see if that helps.

Both of those mobs become untargetable for short amounts of time (phobis when he's in the center spewing adds, seer when he does his aoe). You likely have 'auto-target when hated' on and when the boss becomes untargetable, it switches to the adds. This is normal, it's part of that boss' encounter script in game. Even happens to people not using bots.

I use auto-target for that and simalar fights so when they become targetable youll auto switch back
