Taking on ToV Raid Content

Hi

I was wondering if there is any scripting for TOV raid instances.

Everyone seems to be very busy with Dominion and i dont hear much about people taking on the raid content.

With 1 group what Raid content could i potentially do?
And if i got a 2nd group off the ground will that drastically improve the raid content i can attempt ?

I guess what i am asking is, can i start harvesting the low hanging fruit in the raid zones?
The odd item here and there gotten through attrition can only make my group / groups stronger.

Any input would be appreciated.

SOE seems to have no interest in allowing content to be 1 groupable. For example, in labs if you have 6 or less people, I think it does 60 million damage to each player. The more people you have, the less damage it does.

In heroic gear, I'm not sure if you could 1 group anything in Accursed Sanctum or not, then again, there is 0 reason to do so anyways.
For Accursed Sanctum: There is not a single piece of usable jewelry out of there. I really do mean, not a single piece. When comparing the Raid gear to Heroic gear, when both are upgraded, they are as close to equal as they can be.

It really feels like they wanted people to actually use the group instances this expansion, and that was successful, but definitely came at the cost of raid itemization.

Well that does explain the very low uptake on the raid instances.
And the complete absence of PUG raids and the like.

It is a pity as the best part of COE was trying to get further and further into the raid content.
And there was something awesome about having a raid force on demand.

Guess the best thing to do is just to work on a 2nd group and then 2 characters per account, and hope that the next expansion treats the Raiders better.
And gives us time to work on V17 get some Uber profiles going :)

Might go and give Accursed Sanctum a look see and who knows i might get an overpower gem or something like that.

The gems for overpowered potent gear come from Fabled Labs. AS will give you energized armor, which even with a red gem (pricey!) is barely better than 3-gem potent, and you probably won't get very far with 2 groups to get all the pieces. Fabled Labs has some decent jewelry imo, though nothing really spectacular. Think Labs needs 10 (maybe 12) people to make the zonewide aoe survivable, so it's at least something you can work at with 2 groups for overpowered gems and a shot at a few ok items.

Believe is was reading an article that only the last fight in Fabled Labs (Vyem) has the BIG AOE and they reduced it to not be instant death on 12 people (2 groups).
Also i guess getting the overpowered gems is a nice something extra on top of the already 3 gem armour items that people have had for some time.

It is another 6 months of the same instances and only so much one can tweak and swap out on gear.
Seems like there is new raid instances opening up, and the odd fabled dungeon that sports some minor upgrades.
But nothing to really get on with apart from the raids, even the HQ seems to take you into the raid instances or so i have heard...

Kinda curious as to what everyone else is up too after dominion and running daily/weekly for Ethyma's

(dont get me wrong alts and 2nd group has me busy enough given my limited game time)

I do the zone pretty easy with 12 toons as long as you have 12 toons the aoe barely takes a quarter of your life.. and its ez to recover from that but yes the gems are so OP ive gotten like 8 toons overcharged so far... mainly also you can sell the overcharged gems for around 2000p also..

@Eddie

Anyway you can share some of the basic strats (with bots in mind)
From what i have caught in some forums you will need 4 healers to deal with the curses.

Something along the line of - Boss + Adds - Must off tank adds - Boss drops circle on ground - joust circle - burn adds - burn boss - collect loot :

Any input would be much appreciated, as it would save hours of figuring out strats and working through ACT :)

Labs is literally no different than it was in T7. Except the first encounter sometimes spawns a thing on the ground you have to move out of (and conveniently has a cast bar and then yellow text)

When you killed Vymm with a x2 did you split the mobs? I tried to single tank it with my 11 ranged....got vymm down to 55% and my x2 went splat. I don't think it was a cure curse, I just ran out of stone skins for the amount of damage I was getting with the 2 named on me. Any advice?

Split tank them with all your DPS killing Vem first.

If the entire raid is dieing at the same time, it very well may be the curse... 2 tanks are not needed, but I'm sure it would make it a bit more manageable.
