Tank Aggro Advice

I'm new to Ogre, IsxEQ2 and Lavasoft, and am really amazed and enjoying this product. My group is clearing T1 and T2 heroics now. Based on advice on these forums and availability of profiles/AAs, I use: Berserker, Defiler, Templar, Coercer, Troubador, and Necro (my main I play in regular raids).
Because my Necro has raid gear, he keeps ripping aggro. I was able to minimize this by:

• Upgrading Tank as best i can
• Use AV from troub
• Use Shout from coercer
• Try to time the taunts (tank) and de-aggros (necro)

It works enough to allow me to clear the content, but it still not stable. I was considering to switch my Zerker to a Paladin, I heard Paladin has best aggro management. But I wanted to get your opinion before I invest in build up a new toon.

Is switching to a Paladin a good idea, or should I just continue to invest in the zerker and improve his dps?

Honestly.. yes. A paladin will make your life 10000 times easier.
Few things to just double check also, make sure your troub is using their dehate song. Make sure tank has 100% threat gain, make sure coercer has hate xfer on tank. Make sure Coercer is spec'd for server hate and is casting it on the necro (-2 positions).

Your other option to try, is a guardian. Since that's a betray. They get a mini-amends, and you can see if that's enough for you.

It's probably worth mentioning Potency Mitigation a lot as well really. If you are leaving your tank as one of the last to get upgrades, it's going to suffer a lot. For example if doing T2 heroics (42k pot mit), and your tank has 55k pot vs necro at 80k, it's effectively 13k pot vs 38k. The difference is HUGE.

You can of course counter this to some extent with;
Amends
Broken abilities (Dragonfire).
