What combo have you found so far? Ethermancy makes scorched earth pretty potent. For a normal encounter, with no mechanics that stop dps I get 700M-1B out of my beastlord and about half that out of my ranger. My ranger sucks ass, the ranger epic 2.0 doesn't play well with ogre right now, but he was horrible before that. Tank and Illusionist around 200-400. Healers are an embarrassment so i just use them to set up ascension combos on the DPS.
I messed around with my Caststack and basically paid some attention to what was going on in combat...ranger is less shitty now and i was wrong about the epic 2.0 not working, perhaps i hadn't done an export after getting it. Im not sure. But after some tweaking and getting my INQ epic 2 finished, the ranger is doing much better. I should point out i dont have the main hand blade for the epic 2.0, i hate to petition to get it changed and be botting when the GM shows upInteresting. I changed my assassin to a ranger but you saying that makes me wonder if that is a mistake.
Brittle armor surge will increase effectiveness of combat mit debuff per stack. I've been spending sometime figuring out the combos. Found some really good ones but there are just so many permutation to go through.Etherflash + Virulent Outbreak
Stone Hammer + Blood Contract
Brittle Armor + Ethershadow Assassin
Glacial Freeze + Septic Strike
Using these in succession will result in the 2nd (and 3rd and 4th if you have them) ability hitting a second time for the damage type of the previous ability. Im not sure how it works if you 'surge' brittle armor, im guessing its more effective but I haven't really paid attention closely.
The way I do it is i have the starter ability in the caststack of my healers and have it set to announce in group. Then i manually cast the 2nd ability on my tank or dps. I'm pretty sure this could be automated but i kind of like having some control of it.
I must add that having the epic 2.0 rewards equipped to improve those abilities further is pretty important for this. If you are slacking on doing those quests, stop slacking on those quests.
Some brief data that I put together a while back, from 3 pulls of a T3 raid mob lasting 5min+ per pull. My basic decision was that Weaponskills = 2k Is most important. ST/Accuracy help, but only for the final 10-15% hit rate.I'd like to see some actual data that suggests strikethrough on scouts is needed. I did some limited testing awhile ago, noticed no difference in hit%. They were always 97-99% with/without.
