Unable To Start Isxeq2.dll After Updating Innerspace

I should have known better than to update to the 64bit version of Innerspace but since I have good backups I did it anyway. When I started isxeq2 I got an error stating "The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer"

No problem, I'll just go back and restore from backups and life is good ... except its not. While isxeq2 starts and the patcher runs, it's still pulling the isxeq2.dll file in /extensions/ISXDK35/ folder, but its executing from the old isxeq2.dll in the /extensions/ISXDK34/ folder that gives me the blue screen stating that I have a version mismatch between EQ2 and ISXEQ2.

The question is how do I fix this and go back to pulling the updates that work on the 32bit version of Innerspace?

from the old isxeq2.dll in the /extensions/ISXDK34/ folder
You can delete this.

Otherwise, if you want additional help, please post the EXACT error message you're seeing (either type it out, copy/paste, or screenshot.)

Also, make sure you have only one copy of ISXEQ2.dll on your computer. It should be in /innerspace/Extensions/ISXDK35 ....all other instances of ISXEQ2.dll can/should be deleted.

Just to clarify, the hard disk I am now running on now has not has Innerspace updated in years and hasn't had any updates in about 4 months; this is why I'm surprised that I'm having a problem with running isxeq2.dll from this computer.

Ok, I moved the isxeq2.dll file out of the /innerspace/extensions/isxdk34 folder and placed it in the /innerspace/extensions/isxdk35 folder. When entering the "ext isxeq2" command I receive the following error "Extension 'isxeq2' could not be loaded" ... I assume the reason for this is that it is expected to be in the ISXDK34 folder. Like I mentioned originally, with the isxeq2.dll in the ISXDK34, it runs and patches, but places the new file into the ISXDK35 folder, so what I get is the version mismatch screen because I am always running an outdated isxeq2 file.

Now if I take the latest version of the isxeq2.dll file and put it in the ISXDK34 folder, and run the "ext isxeq2" command, I get the following error:

"C:/Program Files (x86)/InnerSpace/Extensions/ISXDK34/isxeq2.dll could not be loaded into memory as a Win32 library"
