True, although I group mostly with friends... would be a nice option to turn off/on so it only echoed in the IS console.Hendrix said:if the logs are not real time, do you really want to paste dps to group? that screams, "hey i am doing something that i am not suppost to be"

There are a few parsers out there already, however they suffer from the logs being out of sync. I am not sure that getting the data right from the game would be any different but it would be interesting to see.Grep said:Check Vanguard Monks, there is a basic out of game dps parser being developed there.
I agree, but I like to see others damage as well... Lets you know whos is semi afk XP leaching.hideus said:There are a few parsers out there already, however they suffer from the logs being out of sync. Also it would be nice to follow a fight up with a parse that you can see in your chat window without having to window out or view from another computer/screen.
I imagine seeing an output something like after a fight:
<Name of Mob> Fight Duration 14 secs, Total O-Dam: 15473, Max Hit 2750(Backstab IV), Min Hit 79(Pierce), Avg Hit 472. Avg DPS 1105.
This could be tweaked to shows heals or damage or whatever depending on who wanted to see what.
Personally I don't care about seeing anyone elses dps. This is mainly for me tuning my weapon selection and combat techniques. On that note it might be nice to see the Min/Max/Avg per weapon or attack type as well... =)
