Problem with how the bot pumps quality:

On several t5 artificer work orders namely:
chipped granite statues, glass tubings, chipped granite chest pieces.

The bot will pump quality in a very ineffecient manner by using the station step on the 3rd or 4th leg to pump quality. The resulting action is the bot runs out of AP, and or ends up at C quality. If the bot would instead pump quality via the utility action earlier in the WO recipie it could achieve A quality very easy.

Im sure this doesnt jsut apply to artificer work orders i mentioned earlier.

Matching my expectations is unrealistic? Why would I write the script to anyone elses expectations? If you want to run the script on aggressiveness level 3, then you need to have gear that's equal to your level. If not, you need to turn the slider down. If you can't do moderates to grade A normally, then dont expect the script to do it.

The xp output is no longer necessary. And after today's patch it seems broken. I will set aggressiveness to 4 and max quality to 100. It doesnt push quality except on tool steps now. Ending at grade B or lower. (This is on autocraft btw and it had over 1500 AP left).

I signed up my friend for innerspace / isxvg. I got him all setup with vgcrafthelper as well, but for some reason the bot grabs difficult work orders when he only has moderate / easy selected. yes he hit save.

Any idea's?

The only time it should get a WO other than at the difficulties you listed, is if it can't find any of the two skills listed. Did he put his two different finishing skills, or both as the same refining skill, in the skill dropdowns?

Have recently been using the Faction Grind option a lot, works great. If you haven't tried it, I'd suggest checking it out :)

It buys too many utilities, since it's buying enough for the whole WO, but I'll look into that.

First of all nice work!

But i have a little Problem, i am doing WOs in Outfittin, and it allways stops on the second last step with the text "I think we ran out of APs!" but i still have 800 left, i allready tried to play with agresive setting and stuff but i could not fix it :(

Can you maybe help me?

Hmm, well I can't think of anything that would cause it to "always stop". There is a bug that occurs when the get a progress comp on the final step of a multi-step stage 4, but that doesnt happen very often. I'll need some more details, such as your level, which actions are available in said step, and the debug output from the script (this is turned on via the options tab).

Since I don't know anyone else that is having the same issue as yourself, the problem is probably simple enough.

I am lvl 5 Outfitter :) and it ALLWAYS happens @ the second last step...

How can i save the chat output?

The Last Lines are:

Level 5? Well that probably explains it, please make sure you have all of the required utilities and tools before using the script. If all else fails, just manually craft until you are at least level 10 or 11. Only takes a couple hours, heh. If I get time to test on a character below level 10, I might be able to find the problem, but it's not really a priority for me.

Oke and i will make my Character above lvl 10 so maybe its really because i am too low level, i checked the tools and stuff, i have everything i need.

Option 7 would have been looking for quality on a tool step, and you probably dont even have an option to gain quality from your tool step yet. Problem should be fixed. I can't test it, but the fix will be in today's update.

Your script just updated, but its still not working

bot goes to 100% quality and still does quality steps. Max quality is set at 75-85, and the bot tries to go PAST 100% quality without upgrading progress. Don't understand.
I unloaded ISXVG and the script, and it still doesn't work.

Problem starting

I'm having problems setting up this script and I'm not sure whats wrong.

I edit the file as detailed instructions so it points to the texture files in my vanguard directory , the program starts and exits with an error saying it cant parse the file : Unknown error.

If I leave the file as is pointing to the wrong location the script will actually start with the black box.

it's very wierd.

The file also contains a typo , it shows Upte ture instead of Uptexture at one spot which I have to change before trying anything.

Hello,

Is there a script that will just craft work orders for you?

I do not want it to select the workorder, or do any buying and selling. I would take care of all that and have the crafter at the table. I only want the script to target the crafting table and craft untill all workorder are gone from the 3 I selected.

I think i figured it out, either that or it fixxed itself...but now im noticing when it goes to the vendor to buy an item it doesnt buy anything instead it just moves random crafting components back and forth inside my utility bag

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Is there a way to set a couple waypoints to find the WO giver, because with them moving the bot just stands around for awhile.

I have a problem with after my guy gets the WO he faces totally away from the next target (supplier) and just stand there, this is what I get

Could not calculate (-66159.296875 - -66159.296875)/0.000000
No Line of Sight to
waiting until they are closer


Any ideas?

Hi!

Here's my problem.. The bot don't open my reward Supply Pouch or Supply Kit and sell the whole bag.

Result, I don't have any reward..

I don't see option in the script.. Anyone could help?

Anyone else having a problem where the Bot just stops crafting? It seems to do it only on WOs with Mitrhil Armor pieces.

You're leading your XML file (VGSkin.xml I think) to the wrong textures, check back to the directions on the first post for VGCH setup instructions

It doesnt start crafting after the patch.. It runs back and forth selling getting WOs and canceling them..

Everything seems stable after the updated ISXVG patch but the Loot All window from rewards is killing me.. Crafthelper doesnt seem to know what to do after it opens teh supply pouches.

problem is the same for me.. so no rewards ;)

From looking through everything it looks like loot:loot all needs to added someplace. ive looked over the .iss file but cant seem to figure out where it goes to loot everything from the pouches. any input would be great.

No i was hopeing it would get updated with a fix... It seems everyone is using craftbot and not crafthelper hence the no updates. Im just grinding faction right now so it still works great. Any help would be nice.

Yep I think too that everybody use vgcraftbot. But I can't make it work well, problems with path, and bot attitude. I try all settings.. but not work very vell.. :(

I sincerly hope someone help us.

A interesting thing. The didn't loot anymore the content of the supply kit, but still loot correctly items when we use craft assist.

UPDATE : here's the source of the problem. If someone with good skills can help to find in the script code.

Since the 13/06/2007 patch of VG, the supply kit open a loot window, like a body. Before, he just add things in inventory.

Let me know if the latest update fixes the problem, I am going simply by what you posted, I have not done any crafting since April, and only been playing Vanguard again for a few days.

No it doesnt look like its working for me yet.. Whats going on is when you get your Supply Pouch for a reward and open it, it now has a Loot Window that pops up with all the goodies in it. You have to hit loot all for it to go into your inventory.

Crafthelper just leaves this loot window up with out looting all.

Well that's exactly the change I just made, it should do a Loot:LootAll 2 seconds after opening a supply kit. As I said, I can't test it, so a fix will have to wait I guess, unless someone can give me more details.

The problem is not fix yet but take your time. We know that you're busy. We hope just you'll fix because your bot is better than craftbot ;)

Just a little other issue and 2 requests :

When we choose "craft" tab, we can select a station and a recipe. If we choose a refining station and for a second craft we move and select a finishing station, the recipe list show only refining recipes. And vice-versa. We must close the bot and restart.

And the requests :

- Could you give the possibility to loot dust in the craft bag instead inventory?
- It's possible to add previously named catalyst on a craft action?

Hiya great script and thanks for sharing it.

I have a few requests i hope you will consider adding at some point. Ability to do workorders without a path file for non afker's. At the moment I'm useing manual crafting to skill up which works great, but i'd like to able to repeat recipe's for batches and sets, or do all the work orders and go and pick up new orders myself. (work orders dont appear in the recipe drop down not sure if they can)

Some complications are worth fixing and some are not due to loss of quality a way to pick which complications to fix. Choosing which part of the process to add quality (oiling is the most efficient) to make better use of action points.

And a check in each part of the process to see if its going to have enough points to complete the recipe so to not use action points on quality if its not going to have enough points to finish the recipe.

This is definitely in there, it's something I have spent a lot of time on. Even so, nothing is perfect, and every character is different. If you are failing more than like 5% of the time, there may be a problem we should look in to.


As for the other ideas that have been posted, I will get to them when I am able, unfortunately this project is low on my priorities list atm.

Theres a bug where you need 2x the EE of the tool you are useing, so make sure you have enough Crafting EE.

EE = Equipment Experience( I think ? )

Having a problem with secondary fuels like softener. Some work orders have the primary fuel at the beginning and a secondary fuel like softener at the end. The script is ignoring the primary fuel when doing the quality and only using the secondary fuel. The secondary fuels quality is only very low with very low progress causing a lot of action points to be used and a lot of work orders not being completed. This happened a lot even with quality set to 30%.

Heya :) My support for this script will be limited, but I plan on keeping it alive.

It does not use LavishNav, and without an autoplotter app (one was in work, was abandoned I guess) I don't intend to undertake that project.

I still use it for hammering out repeatable recipes. To get it working, go into moveto.iss in the common folder under scripts. At the end of the file is a duplicate definition for Obstacle2. Put a /* and a */ before and after the function or just delete it. i.e....

this bot has somewhat been left alone for quite some time and is probably somewhat broken, however it still works well for repeatable recipes. The fix I posted get's it running to do repeatable recipes, but I don't think it fixes stuff for general WO crafting. I use vgcraftbot for that instead.

Im sorry IeU.. i spent 1 hour looking for a thread to assist me, with no luck

and i tried everything..

remote name, gui, tracert...


could u please point me in the proper direction?
